It is recommended to have your teeth checked and cleaned at least once every six months. Regular visits to the dentist along with good oral hygiene can reduce the risk of tooth decay, tooth loss and gum disease. Any potential dental issues can be identified early and treated before they become a complex and expensive procedure.

Modern dental treatment can be achieved with no or minimal discomfort.

Our Services

Dental check-up
Small instruments such as a mirror and a probe will be utilised to conduct an oral exam of your mouth, teeth and gums. The dentist will talk to you about caring for your teeth and gums, and answer any questions you might have about your mouth. Any oral health issues such as decay, gum disease and other conditions will be diagnosed. X-rays may need to be taken if a suspected dental problem is difficult to see. If a problem is detected, treatment options and estimated cost will be explained and discussed with you before the treatment is performed.

Scaling and cleaning and oral health advice
While tooth brushing and flossing at home can help remove built up debris on the teeth, only professional cleaning can thoroughly remove hard calculus (tartar). Ultrasonic scalers are often used to clean above and below the gum line. After your teeth have been cleaned, an abrasive paste will be used to remove residual plaque and stains on the tooth surface. This helps treat and prevent gum disease. Oral hygiene instructions will then be given on how to maintain healthy teeth and gums.

Dental fillings
Dental fillings are used to restore worn or damaged teeth and treat tooth decay. Tooth decay or dental caries can be defined as localised and progressive demineralisation of the hard tissues of the tooth. After the decay has been removed, the cavity is cleaned, dried and sealed with a filling material. The use of a tooth coloured (composite resin) filling material restores the aesthetic appearance of the tooth as well as the shape and function. And best of all it is metal free.
